Acacio Mañé was one of the leaders of the National Crusade for the Liberation of Equatorial Guinea, a political movement for independence in the 1950s. But at that time, the Spain of the dictatorial regime was not yet prepared to lose its last colonies: on the 28th November 1959 Acacio was arrested in the city of Bata and transferred to the Navy barracks; They then embarked him on a ship heading to present-day Malabo, but he never reached port. This documentary seeks to settle a debt with the recognition of our historical memory, bringing to light the crimes of the Franco dictatorship in the former Spanish Guinea. To this end, his team has worked for almost eight years dedicated to research, searching for witnesses of the time and discovering unpublished documents and filming of the families of the former settlers.
